You can use this function to discuss talents in talent review meetings that do not have a valid performance assessment and/or potential assessment for the period to which the talent review meeting refers.
If you use the search to add talents to a talent review meeting, it can be useful if you can identify in the search result whether the talents have a valid performance assessment and/or potential assessment. The standard SAP system does not display this information in the search result.
To display the performance value and potential value in the search result, make the following settings in Customizing for Talent Management and Talent Development under
:Simple search
Under Define Search Configurations
, create a search configuration that contains the search fields S_PERFORMANCE_TEXT
and S_POTENTIAL_TEXT
, and select the Result Field
checkbox for these search fields.
Under Assign Search Configuration
, assign this search configuration to the following parameters:
RM_TALENT_SIMPLE
For the simple search for talents while planning and preparing talent review meetings
RM_TALENT_PRESENT_SIMPLE
For the simple search for talents while conducting talent review meetings
Advanced search
Under Define Search Configurations
, create a further search configuration and proceed as described for the simple search.
Under Assign Search Configuration
, assign this search configuration to the following parameters:
RM_TALENT_ADVANCE
For the advanced search for talents while planning and preparing talent review meetings
RM_TALENT_PRESENT_ADVANCE

In Customizing for Talent Management and Talent Development, under SUPPORT_UNAPPRAISED_TALENTS
to specify that it should be possible to discuss talents without a valid performance assessment and/or potential assessment.
When planning and preparing talent review meetings, the talent management specialist can add talents without a valid performance assessment and/or potential assessment to the agenda topics of the talent review meeting.
