 Starting EH&S Open Content Connector

 

You start EH&S Open Content Connector (EH&S OCC ) from the specification workbench of your SAP system.

Prerequisites

  • You have created specifications in the specification workbench.

  • You are in edit mode in the specification workbench.

Procedure

  1. Select the specifications for which you want to load or update data.

  2. In the navigation area or detail area of a specification, choose Start of the navigation path Secondary Data Determination Next navigation step Determination End of the navigation path in the context menu.

    The Determine secondary data dialog box appears.

  3. Select the user exit and choose Copy (Copy).

    If you have selected more than one specification, the Substances dialog box appears.

    If you have selected only one specification, the Settings dialog box appears.

  4. Make your settings.

  5. Then choose OK (OK).

    The EH&S Open Content Connector dialog box appears.

Result

The EH&S OCC dialog box displays the data from the content provider. You can now view the data, compare it with your existing data, decide which data is to be imported, and trigger the import.

Caution Caution

The data displayed in the EH&S Open Content Connector dialog box is not yet imported into your database.

To trigger the import, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Load Regulatory Data End of the navigation path in the menu.
