 Individual development planning

Purpose

The professional development of an employee is planned during a meeting between the employee in question and his or her supervisor. The supervisor has access to the results of past appraisals, career planning scenarios, and information on the employee’s own personal preferences and aspirations. During this meeting, the personnel development activities required are specified.

Process Flow

  1. Obtain information on the employee whose development plan you want to create.

  2. For further information, please refer to Displaying a Profile .

  3. Obtain information on the employee’s personal preferences and aspirations.

  4. For further information, please refer to Displaying a Profile . Select the Preferences profile.

  5. Find out about the personnel development activities available.

  1. Find out about any relevant company-specific conditions.

  2. On the basis of the information you have collected, specify personnel development activities for the employee in the individual development plan.
