Note
You can adapt the procedure for general use by defining your own keys.
You can perform settlements using regional location keysto distribute costs statistically throughout a settlement period (for instance, if you want to charge lower percentage rates for heating expenses in summer than in winter).
A regional location key (such as the ETH key in Switzerland) contains the following values:
Heating value days
The heating value percentage ratesthat belong to them (period and value)
In Customizing, set the
Use Heating Value Days
indicator for each service charge key. Choose
.
Enter the regional location key and the heating value percentage rates.
Assign a regional location key to the measurement type on the settlement unit.
You can enter heating value percentage rates for each region and each service charge key.
Caution
If the measurement is apportioned according to consumption, the heating value percentage rates are only taken into account if no interim meter reading is made at tenant changeover.
The system uses the following formula for apportioning service charges related to consumption:
Measurement * Heating value percentage rate/per period Total measurement * Total regional location key value
