 Sample Set of Rules for EH&S Easy Expert

Below you will find an example of how to create a set of rules.

Scenario

In a group of selected real substances, you want to increase the value of the density by 0.1 in all substances with a Density > 2 and add the phrase approx. to the corresponding characteristic Accuracy . You want to compare the results of the EH&S Easy Expert pass with the original values before writing them to the database.

Procedure

  1. From the specification management hit list, choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Sets of rules Next navigation step New End of the navigation path .

  2. The Easy Expert Edit Set of Rules screen appears.

  3. Next to Change value assignments, choose .

  4. The Property Tree dialog box appears.

  5. If you need to, change to another property tree in order to display the value assignment type Density .

  6. In the tree, choose the value assignment type Density by double-clicking it.

  7. The Easy Expert Characteristic Changes dialog box appears.

  8. In the upper part of the screen, enter the following restriction.

  12. Confirm the dialog box.

  13. The Property Tree dialog box appears again.

  14. Confirm the dialog box.

  15. The Easy Expert Edit Set of Rules screen appears again.

  16. Under Value assignments choose Change existing val. assgmt .

  17. Under Options choose Check results.

  18. Choose Execute .

The results of the EH&S Easy Expert pass are displayed in a tree beside the old values. You have the choice of either accepting or rejecting the results.
