You can use this process to track data about persons occupying rooms or other real estate objects over long periods of time. You can plan and record which persons occupy which rooms, while assigning any costs to the Controlling (CO) component. You can also plan internal moves.
You activated the

(ORPO) subfunction in Customizing. In Customizing for

You made all the settings described in Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements .
Create master data of the architectural view.
You enter the architectural details of your real estate portfolio in the system using the
architectural view
. For continuous occupancy, create an architectural object of the type
Room
. You use the function of the room to control whether the room is available for continuous occupancy.
Generate reservation objects.
Run the program for creating reservation objects .
Determine the room prices.
Define the basis for the calculation of prices for continuous occupancy. In Customizing for prices for the individual rooms and enter the receiver for the costs (such as, a cost center to which the costs are posted).

Define the roles an occupant is allowed to have. In Customizing choose

You can also assign a role to a person moving (or occupant) directly from the RE Navigator. For more information, see Recording Continuous Occupancy of an Individual Reservation Object .
For move planning, you can use the function for
delegating partial planning
. In that case you have to define a business partner role of the type
Assignment Planner (TR0814).
In Customizing, choose

Create the
business partner
centrally that you want the system to propose when you create continuous occupancy data. Enter the user name of the business partner on the
Identification
tab page.
Using Organizational Management, you can assign a cost center to a business partner. For more information, see Assigning Business Partner and Cost Center to Each Other .
Enter continuous occupancy for objects.
Enter continuous occupancy data for individual or multiple reservation objects.
Post costs of continuous occupancy to Controlling (CO).
Post the costs for the continuous occupancy to Controlling. For calculating the costs that are due, the system uses the account assignment data that you specified when you entered the continuous occupancy data.
Plan and activate the move.
Plan a move of those persons, whom you assigned to the reservation objects, and activate this move. As a result of the move, new permanent occupancy data (new room information) becomes valid beginning on the specified date.
You assigned people, who are to occupy your reservation objects over a continuous period of time. At your discretion, you also executed an internal move for these people in the system. You posted the costs for these rooms in Controlling.
