Calling the InfoSet QueryLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

The InfoSet query can only be called in a specific context. This means that the user has to be assigned to a specific role or user group at the start of the component. Furthermore, a specific InfoSet and query can be specified. For this reason the InfoSet query cannot be called by using its own transaction, instead you have to start it by using the subsequently described options.

You can start the InfoSet query in two different ways:

  • For example, the call can be set up using four reports that determine the particular call parameters. These reports decide which access rights the user has, for example, from which role and with which InfoSet the InfoSet query can be started, as well as which reporting type can be used (development or ad-hoc reporting). The call takes place by using a menu option in the role.

  • The InfoSet query can also be started from the maintenance transaction for queries in the SAP Query.
