An editor enables you to create and edit text for standard elements in the following:

  • Document Builder Cockpit (/IPRO/WD_COCKPIT)

  • Customizing for Document Builder Content Management under Start of the navigation path Regulation Sets and Elements Next navigation step Standard Elements End of the navigation path

  • Document Summary screen of the SAP Document Builder interface

The editor you use is based on the complexity of the required word processing features. Microsoft Word DOCX is recommended to generate professional documents. You can implement any editor that fulfills your requirements For more information, see the following:

Microsoft Word 2007

Generates Microsoft Word output in DOCX format for legal documents containing Microsoft Word-based elements and forms

  • No requirement for third-party ActiveX Control for editing

  • Supports advanced text and document formatting

  • Spell checker

  • Generates separate PDF files

  • Customers can create forms in Microsoft Word instead of PDF
