Workflows
This section describes the main workflow templates available for document, template, and element approval. SAP Document Builder ships preconfigured workflows that are triggered when you make changes.

User-Specified Status
User-specified status management enables you to customize document, template, and element statuses to those delivered with SAP Document Builder. Statuses control the behavior of a document, template, or element and trigger the workflows.
The following document and template statuses are delivered with SAP Document Builder:
New
Held
In Approval
Released
The following element statuses are delivered with SAP Document Builder:
Draft
In Approval
Active
