You can define the key performance indicators (KPIs) at the process definition level. They can then be calculated in real-time while process monitoring is happening. 3 types of KPIs can be defined for a process:
Count: Calculates the number of times an activity is executed
Duration: Calculates the amount of time that elapses between activity executions
Classification: Calculates a classification code, based on a user-defined rule, for the process instance. The classification can, for example, be used for analytics.
KPIs are calculated for local processes only.
