 Object Mandate

Definition

An object mandate is used for managing land or buildings that belong completely to one owner. The owner in this case can also be understood as a group of owners, such as joint heirs, but does not include condominium owners’ associations.

Use

You create a separate company code for an object mandate (see Creating a Mandate Company Code ). You post in this company code and enter master data and contracts just as you do in other company codes.

You can have the system update Customizing of the object mandate company code centrally, reflecting the settings of the reference company code.

Aside from third-party management, the object mandate company code does not differ from other company codes.

Example

For an example for maintaining data in various company codes, see Example: Third-Party Management .
