 Entering Parameters for Automatic Returns Transfers


The returns data provided by a bank or an external system must be converted to the format accepted by the program for transferring returns data and stored as a file on an application server.


  1. Choose one of the following paths:

  1. The screen for entering returns transfer data appears.

  2. Enter the required data. Change the default values on screen as necessary.

  1. Enter a one to twelve character alphanumeric ID for the program run.

  2. Choose Edit File as your processing mode. The program imports the file with the returns that is on the application server into the internal tables.

  3. Specify the path as though you were going to work directly on the application server.

  4. To close the lot, choose Close Returns Lot .

  5. If you select Close Returns Lot , the returns lots created by the program run are closed directly. You can only change closed returns lots if you have special authorization 012.

  6. To post the lot, set the Post Returns Lot indicator in addition to selecting Close Returns Lot .

  1. Choose Continue .


If you have selected Close Returns Lot , the returns lots created by the program run are closed.

If you also selected Post Returns Lot , the returns lots generated by the program run are posted.

The job log provides you with full details on how the posting took place, and you should be able to detect the reason for an incorrect run. To view the job log, choose Job Overview in the header and select the corresponding item by double-clicking on it . If you want to post a returns lot in the background and view a job log, select the corresponding returns lot on the selection screen and choose Job Overview . Double-click on the corresponding item to view the job log.
