Configuring an Action with ParametersLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have created a:

  • BO node with at least one action.

  • BOPF action with an action parameter structure.

Context

You can configure an action with certain parameters. For example, on the root node of the dependent object (DO) attachment folder, you can configure the CREATE_FOLDER action, which has an action parameter structure.

Procedure

  1. Create a configuration for Web Dynpro component FPM_FORM_UIBB.
  2. Specify feeder class /BOFU/CL_FBI_GUIBB_ACTPRM_FDR.
  3. Specify feeder parameters.

    Parameters

    Description

    Business Object

    Name of the BO.

    Node

    Name of the node on which the action is configured.

    Action Parameter UI Structure

    Name of the action parameter UI structure (if any).

    Act Param UI Mapper Class

    Name of the UI Mapper class.

    Note

    If you have a UI structure, it is mandatory to specify the UI mapper class.

    Clear Action Params

    Select this checkbox if you want the action parameters to be cleared every time you close the dialog.

    Do not close dialog on error

    If you select this checkbox , the dialog will not close if an error occurs.
  4. You can now prepare the layout using the Add Groups and Configure Groups pushbuttons.
  5. Save your entries.
