Function documentationDelayed Deferral Posting

When the Accrual Engine calculates and posts deferrals by equally distributing the relevant revenues among the months of the validity period, the tool does not consider whether the revenue (cash flow item in the contract) is posted or not.

According to the legal requirements in Italy, if there is no revenue posted on the key date in a contract, you must not post any deferrals in the given month of the validity period.

As soon as you post the revenue with the Periodic Posting: Contracts (RERAPP) program and you run the accrual engine to calculate and post deferrals again, the system posts the deferrals retroactively to the previous month(s) of the validity period.

Note Note

You can use this function only with Italian company codes.
