Use

Parcels are measured by their cadastral area on the one hand, and by areas in parcel maps on the other. Surveying is performed either by the survey office itself or by another recognized and certified surveyor. The cadastral area can change after the initial survey due to later surveys or because the parcel is merged or split. Therefore, you keep track of the surveying status over time.

Areas are distinguishable from one another on the basis of:

Overlay number

The type of cadastral usage/classification

Overlays are used to break down the parcel map into several levels: you can enter areas and characteristics for each type of cadastral usage or classification. For each federal state, overlay numbers are created for measuring areas based on the different laws and regulations of the state and federal governments.

You made the necessary settings in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX). Choose:

Master Data → Basic Settings → Measurements

Country-Specific Settings → Germany → Land Use Management → Parcel of Land → Define Overlays

Country-Specific Settings → Germany → Land Use Management → Parcel of Land → Specify Relevant Overlay Numbers for Certain Hierarchy Levels

Country-Specific Settings → Germany → Land Use Management → Parcel of Land → Specify Cadastral Classification

Country-Specific Settings → Germany → Land Use Management → Central Settings for Land Use Management → Make General Settings for Land Use Management

In the Defaults for Parcels group box, enter a measurement in the Cadastral Area Meas. field.

Procedure

You are processing a parcel .

Choose the Areas tab page, then enter the measurements.

Choose the status of the survey in the Surveying Status group box.

Assign overlays to the parcel in the Overlays group box. The system totals the areas for each overlay. You receive a message if the total area for an overlay is greater than the cadastral area.

Make any additional entries and save.

Result

You entered measurements for different overlays.
