Function documentationStatus Changes for Talent Review Meetings

You can set the statuses In Process, Withdrawn, Approved, and Completed for talent review meetings overall.

Note Note

The status changes described here refer to an entire talent review meeting. Additionally, while the talent review meeting is being held, you can change the status of the performance values and potential values of talents in the calibration grid. For more information, see Status Handling in Talent Management in the section Status of Performance Values and Potential Values, and Holding of Talent Review Meetings.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

See Talent Review Meeting.

Features

  • You can withdraw planned talent review meetings, if, for example, it is decided not to hold the talent review meeting.

If you withdraw a talent review meeting, the system deletes the infotype records of the infotypes Performance (7409) and Potential (7408) that it created based on this talent review meeting. For more information, see Performance Values and Potential Values in the Talent Review Meeting.

You can display withdrawn talent review meetings in the list of talent review meetings on a separate tab. You can also reset the status. If you reset the status of the talent review meeting to In Process, you can continue to process it on the corresponding tab.

  • You can approve talent review meetings after they have been approved by a higher management level (outside of the system, for example, on paper).

For more information, see Approval of Talent Review Meetings.

  • You can complete a talent review meeting that you have held.

You cannot make changes to completed talent review meetings. You can display completed talent review meetings in the list of talent review meetings on a separate tab.

    Recommendation Recommendation

We recommend that you complete talent review meetings that have been held.

    End of the recommendation.

    Note Note

If you want to complete a talent review meeting for which error messages are still open, you need to decide whether all error messages are to be set to the status Completed. For more information, see Follow-Up Activities of Talent Review Meetings.

    End of the note.
  • You can reset the status Completed. If you edit the talent review meeting again, you can continue to process it on the corresponding tab.
