Before you can calculate and administrate the registration (IRE) tax amounts, you have to set up the system appropriately by making system settings.
You make settings in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management
(RE-FX), under :
Maintain Company Code Dependent Registration Tax Parameters
Maintain company code-dependent parameters for calculating registration tax. You can exclude transfer records for specified company codes and set the visibility and behavior of the IRE and IRE (New) tabs in the contract master data.
Maintain Registration Tax Rates
Define the registration tax rates for all rental object codes. In case of one-time payment, the tax authorities allow a certain amount of payment deductions that you can specify for the rental object codes. You also specify which condition groups are relevant to IRE tax.
Maintain Tax Codes for Rental Object Codes
Assign an IRE tax code to each rental object code and the relevant type of payment (one-time payment or annual payment) by choosing the relevant tax code determination parameter (one-time payment, beginning year, intermediate year, renewal, or notice). In this way, you can assign the IRE tax code as defined by law to each rental object code and payment type combination.
Maintain Calculation Types
Specify the calculation types and whether it is relevant to one-time payment.
Maintain Tax Code Descriptions
Enter the IRE tax codes with their corresponding description and define whether it is the main tax code.
Maintain Time-Dependent Parameters
Enter the parameters relevant to IRE tax, for example, fixed amounts, advance resolution, reduction percentage, and deduction percentage of one-time payment.
Maintain Register Office Master Data
Enter the responsible IRE register office.
Select Reasons for Notice Relevant to Transfer of Ownership
Select the reason for notice relevant to transfers of ownership.
