Starting Situation for COA Settlement:

The business entity consists of two condominiums (rental units):

  • Rental unit (RU) 1 with assessment contract 1 and customer (condominium owner) 1

  • Rental unit (RU) 2 with assessment contract 2 and customer (condominium owner) 2

There are two settlement units:

  • Settlement unit 1 for apportionable costs

  • Settlement unit 2 for costs that are not apportionable to tenants

The costs for both settlement units are distributed to the owners with a ratio of 30:70.
