Providing Appraisal Document URL for Users

Use

If you want to run the Objective Setting and Appraisals application in Web GUI, the Internet or Web administrator must have access to the following URLs so that he or she can set links to the relevant Business Server Pages.

Note that different URLs have to be used depending on the various roles. The URL can be added to the relevant role as an external service or installed on the intranet page. Furthermore, a restriction exists in that this is not valid for customer-defined BSP applications and the calibration function.

Use

Procedure

In the SAP Menu, choose Tools → ABAP Workbench → Overview → Application Hierarchy and call the Object Navigator. In the Package field, enterPAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_UIConfirm your entries.

In the Object Name group box, choose PAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_UI → BSP Applications → HAP_DOCUMENT and double-click. The SAP system displays the BSP application hap_document in the right half of the screen.

Depending on the task the user is to perform, identify the relevant entry (see table) in the Start field and double-click.

On the next screen, choose the Properties tab page. Scroll down using the scroll bar and copy the http link entered in the URL field. Send this link to users in an e-mail.

You can also position the cursor on the URL and press F8 to call the appraisal document directly in the browser.

Result

You have provided the user with the necessary URL according to his or her individual role. The user can now use the link in the browser to access the Objective Setting and Appraisals application where he or she can execute the appropriate activity.
