Document Management Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry UI Enhancements in Document Management, application option The following enhancements are available:

  • A new search functionality available on the home page of web UI that helps you choose the right repository from the list of available repositories.

  • When using the advanced search functionality, you can type in the prepopulated columns. Earlier, you could only choose a value from a list of available options. Now, you can type your choice to filter the available options.

  • In the Document Properties view, you can view the web link for the selected document or folder. You can share the web link of the document or folder with other users who can directly access the asset.

Document Management Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry File upload via content server for SAP DMS repositories

Document Management can bypass the ABAP layer and communicate directly with the content server to upload documents.

For Document Management, integration option, you can enable the capability while onboarding your DMS repository. See Add Your Repository Using the Onboarding API.

For Document Management, application option, edit your repository to enable the feature. See Update Your Own Repository.

The home folder need not be the root folder. By doing so, you can restrict the users from reaching the root folder of the repository, avoiding unintentional access to shared folders and other folders in the root. Document Management Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry Disable virus scan for large files

Earlier, in a virus scan enabled repository, you could upload only files up to size 400 MB. Now, you can skip the virus scan for files larger than 400 MB. Files up to 400 MB are scanned before uploading.

Document Management Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry UI enhancements Enhancements are made to Admin and Web UIs:

  • The action toolbar is frozen when you scroll down inside the folders. Now, you can view the column title irrespective of your position in the folder.

  • In the Admin UI, new columns are added to display the repository properties like virus scanning, versioning, and hash algorithm. Now, you can view all the repository properties in one place.
