Launchpad Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry Transporting specific content items between landscapes

In addition to transporting a site together with all its content, Administrators can select specific content items that they would like to transport.

Note that the related content items are also transported. For example, when you transport a role, its assigned apps are also transported, as well as the groups and catalogs to which the apps are assigned.

Administrators can integrate SAP S/4HANA (on premise) content that was exposed on the back-end system, by defining in the Provider Manager a remote content provider that enables to consume this content in Portal sites.

You can connect multiple SAP S/4HANA systems to a single Portal site.

Launchpad Extension Suite - Digital Experience Cloud Foundry Spaces and pages from SAP S/4HANA content federation

Administrators can select to display pages and spaces in the launchpad when there is federated SAP S4/HANA content that was modelled using spaces and pages. This is done by selecting the Launchpad View Mode in the site settings:

  • Groups - Displays only groups with their apps. Spaces, pages, sections and their apps are not displayed at all.

  • Pages and Spaces - Displays spaces with pages, sections and their apps. Any apps that are assigned to groups are displayed in a specific space called Home Page.

Administrators can configure (in Site Settings) the following settings for the session timeout of a site:

  • Session duration - the time that a session remains open when no actions are performed by the user.

  • Alert before timeout - how much time before the session times out to alert the user.
