Prerequisites for Processing Tasks

Authorizations

If users should create tasks and task lists, they need to have the authorization FRA_COTASK (Task and Task List).
The workflow user WF-BATCH who runs the background jobs also needs the authorization FRA_COTASK to change tasks and FRA_WLIST.

Note

When a task is automatically confirmed, the system checks if the task list can be completed. When the task list is completed, the system tries to complete the alert. Therefore, the WF-BATCH user needs the authorization FRA_WLIST with activity 02 and 03 for all worklist types and all access groups.
Authorizations for Templates
- The authorization object FRA_CTASKT ( Task Template and Task List Template) allows you to control access to task templates and task list templates.
- The authorization object FRA_CTT_AG (Task Template and Task List Template with Auth. Group) allows you to control access to task templates and task list templates based on the authorization group.

You need the authorization object FRA_GROUP (Group) to allow, for example, administrators to maintain groups of users for task processing in the Manage User Groups (Tasks) app.

In the Customizing activity Maintain Detection and Investigation Data Model, define the following:
- Access Group
  
  You can define a field in the view to control access to task lists.
- Navigation Group
  
  You can navigate from the Manage Alerts screen to an external system. The navigation group is a set of navigation targets.
- Template Determination
  
  You must define a field of the view that is used to determine which task list template should be used.
- Organization
  
  You must select one field to be used as the value for managing task groups and creating task lists.
In the Customizing activity Assign Navigation Targets to Navigation Groups, you can assign navigation targets to navigation groups.
In the Customizing activity User Roles for Task List Processing, you can define which of the PFCG roles are used for processing task lists. Only users who have one of the maintained roles can be assigned to task lists.
In the Customizing activity Define Authorization Check for Templates, you can define that the authorization check for task templates and task list templates is based on the authorization group.

The authorization object Task Template and Task List Template with Auth. Group (FRA_CTT_AG) is then used instead of Task Template and Task List Template (FRA_CTASKT).

You must create user groups for task processing in the Manage User Groups (Tasks) app.

Processors are determined based on the Organization and the Task Template:

The task template can be an actual task template or a manual task. For manually created tasks, you have to choose the task template <MANUAL> (Manually Created Task).
The Organization maintained in the Customizing activity Maintain Detection and Investigation Data Model is used by the Organization in the Manage User Groups (Tasks) app.
