Process documentationConfiguration Information

In this process, you make the required settings for integrating the Business Package for Reorganization Management 1.50 in your portal.

To be able to use the reorganization in the portal, you need to install the business package BP for Reorganization Management (BPERPREORG). This business package does not contain any predefined roles; it is only intended for reuse. To facilitate the evaluation of the contents of the worksets by administrators, the worksets of this business package are embedded by delta link in Work Center Pool Role 1.5 of the Business Package for Common Parts 1.5.

However, you can define your own roles (such as Reorganization Manager and Object Owner). You can then use the worksets of the business package BP for Reorganization Management in your own roles:

Workset

-> Own Role

Reorganization Plan Overview

-> Reorganization Manager

Object List Overview

-> Object Owner

However, you do not necessarily need to define the roles Reorganization Manager and Object Owner; instead, you can use the worksets in existing roles.

Example Example

In the profit center reorganization, the reorganization manager can work in Controlling, for example. You could assign his or her workset Reorganization Plans: Overview to the role Controller.

Object owners can be plant managers, project leaders, cost center managers, and so on.

Auditors need to have read-only access to the contents of the worksets.

End of the example.

Prerequisites

Before you can make the settings for the business package, the following prerequisites must be met:

  • You have established your implementation strategy.

    For more information, see the Master Guide SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0. You can find the Master Guide on SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/erp-instInformation published on non-SAP site.

  • You use this business package in combination with the following business functions:

    • FI-GL (New), Profit Ctr Reorganization and Segment Reports (FIN_GL_REORG_1) and/or

    • PSM, Reassignment with New General Ledger Accounting (PSM_FM_REASSIGN)

    You have activated at least one of the above business functions.

Process

Proceed as follows:

  1. Set up the system landscape in the portal.

    For more information, see Set Up the System Landscape.

  2. Assign the worksets of this business package to the desired roles:

    1. The worksets for the reorganization form part of the Worksets for Reuse in Roles. To enable your administrator to gain an overview of the contents of these worksets for reuse in roles, assign the Work Center Pool Role 1.5 (technical name: com.sap.pct.erp.common.15.wcp_role) to this person.

    2. If necessary, create roles for the reorganization, such as Reorganization Manager and Object Owner (see above).

    3. Assign the worksets to your existing roles.

  3. To be able to use the functions Check Period Lock for CO Transactions and Consistency Check, you have to make the settings for the personal worklist (Personal Object Worklist = POWL).

    This personal worklist requires some settings to be made initially. Proceed as described in Settings for Personal Worklists (Standard POWL). For general information about personal object worklists and additional settings options, see Personal Worklist (Technical Information).

  4. If necessary, make the settings for the individual iViews (see the documentation for each particular iView).
