Generate Material Catalog Items
The IS-H MM: Generate Material Catalog from MARC
report (RNUMKAT0
) lets you assemble material catalog items from the MM material master of SAP Logistics (SAP LO) according to various selection criteria and insert them in a catalog that you have created in SAP Patient Management (SAP IS-H) beforehand.
You require the authorization of the authorization group N_U_SYS
.
You must have defined a material catalog.

The IS-H MM: Generate Material Catalog from MARC
report (RNUMKAT0
) reads the material master records from the material master (table MARC
) and outputs a list of the materials that satisfy your selection criteria. You can transfer the materials from this list as items in the material catalog you defined.
Note
SAP recommends that you check the generated catalog items after running the report using the function Define Material Catalog Catalog Items
.
The following selection criteria are available to you on the report selection screen:
Catalog
: Specify the identification key of the catalog to which you wish to add the material catalog items.
Plant
Material
Material Group
: this field lets you restrict the selection with regard to the material group.
Created On
: this field lets you restrict the selection with regard to the date on which the plant-specific material was created.
Created By
: this field lets you restrict the selection with regard to the user who created the material.
Last Changed On
: this field lets you restrict the selection with regard to the date on which the plant-specific material was last changed.
Last Changed By
: this field lets you restrict the selection with regard to the user who last changed the material.
Test Mode
: if you select Test Mode
, the system does not make any changes in the database.
To execute the IS-H MM: Generate Material Catalog from MARC
report (RNUMKAT0
), proceed as follows:
On the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose .
The report selection screen appears.
Specify the identification key of the catalog for which you wish to generate catalog items. You can use the other selection criteria to further restrict your selection.
Choose
(Execute
).
The system lists all the materials that satisfy your selection criteria.
Select the materials you wish to transfer into your material catalog.
