Completing the Operations in an Inspection Lot You can complete the operations in an inspection lot individually and according to requirements. This allows you to document the exact inspection process for an inspection lot. After an operation has been updated, follow-up actions can be triggered automatically, depending on your system settings. For these follow-up actions, the update indicators
AfterPost.
(after posting) and
Sync Post.
(synchronous posting) may
not
be set in Customizing for the
Quality Inspection
under
Define Follow-Up Actions
.
Note
Operation completion is purely informative. It does not influence the existing functions.
You have made the required settings in the activity
Make Settings for Operation Completion
in Customizing for
Quality Management
.
In the Quality Management menu, choose
The initial screen for results recording appears.
Enter the data you want and choose
with the quick info
Execute.
On the
Record Result
screen, select one inspection lot and click on the operation that you wish to complete.
The data for the selected operation appears in the right screen area.
Choose
with the quick info
Operation Completion,
and in the dialog select a valuation and a code. If you choose
with the quick info
Check,
the system fills the
Follow-Up Action
field with the corresponding data.
Confirm your entry.
Note
You can use the following menu path to display an overview of all operations for an inspection lot:
Enter the number of the inspection lot and confirm your entry. On the
Operation Completion
tab page, you can see all completed operations for this inspection lot. You can use the
Change History
function to display the change history for the operation completion. The system writes a change document every time you change the operation completion in results recording.
