Entering Reference Interest Rates Manually You can use this function to enter reference interest rates in the SAP system manually.
The system uses the interest rates defined here to calculate variable interest rates that are linked to these reference interest rates, for example.

Before you enter a reference interest rate for the first time, you must define the reference interest rate in the IMG activity
Check Reference Interest Rates
in Customizing for
Corporate Finance Management
under
Basic Functions.
You can enter new data and/or change or delete existing entries. The input help functions
Copy as, Undo change
and
Position
are available to assist you.
Choose .
The
Change View “Reference Interest Rate Values”: Overview
screen appears, which contains a table of all the reference interest rates entered so far.
Note
The interest rates you define are effective from a particular date (
Effective from
).
To change an existing value, you simply overwrite it.
Note
Use the
Position
function to access the value you want to change directly. When you enter the reference interest rate you want and the
Effective from
date, this interest rate moves to the top of the list.
To delete an entry, select it and choose
Delete
.
To enter a new reference interest rate, choose
New entries
. Enter the new values on the screen that follows:
Select the reference interest rate
Enter the
Effective from
date
Enter the new value.
Save your changes.
