Editing Security Prices Manually This function enables you to edit security prices manually.

You can also edit security prices manually if you have transferred the prices into the system using the market data file interface or datafeed.
In the class master data you have assigned at least one
exchange
to the class and determined the
price currency
for unit-quoted securities

ID Number
and the
Exchange
To display the prices previously entered, choose
Display
The screens for displaying and changing security prices are divided into three areas:
General data for the ID number
High/low prices
Price information
You can see the following entries for the price in the list:
Price date
Price type
Market value (absolute)
The market value will depend on the price type. A market value of zero is not defined.
Currency Key
This field does not appear for percentage-quoted securities.
Price notation
Source
The source tells you whether the price was entered manually or automatically using datafeed (such as TELERATE).
To display the price trends graphically, choose
Chart
To determine the date for one of the high or low prices, choose
Search
. The price you are searching for moves to the first line.
To display the price for a specific day, enter the
Date
and confirm your entry. The price for that day is displayed in the first row.
In the change mode, you enter new price information in the first line of the price information list. Enter the
price date,
the
price type
, the
market value
and the
price notation
. The price date (current date) and the price type (01) are default settings, but can be changed. You can also overwrite existing price data manually (such as data that has been imported using datafeed).
To enter other prices, choose
Edit
→
New Input Line
.
If the new price differs from the price deviation range defined in the class data, a warning appears in the status line.
To delete a price entry, choose
Edit
→
Delete Price Entry
Save your entries.
