Use

The consolidation area is contained in the tables of many entities (for example, for task, breakdown category, item). Before you can delete a consolidation area, all uses need to be removed.

If you change the fields of a consolidation area, often the Customizing settings also become invalid.

You can use this tool to delete the uses of a consolidation area.

Activities

Show – if not already done – the tools view of the workbench.

In the tools view, choose Consolidation Area-Dependent Settings → Delete.

Enter the consolidation area whose dependent settings you want to delete.

Perform the deletion of the consolidation-area-dependent settings in a test run.

The system displays the deleted settings. Analyze the result.

Perform the deletion of the consolidation-area-dependent settings in an update run.

To delete the actual consolidation area, proceed as follows:

Display the consolidation areas to be changed.

In the list of consolidation areas, select the relevant consolidation area, and from the context menu, select the entry Delete.
