Example: Loading Master Data and Hierarchies of Items

This example shows you the details for customizing the method Load from Data Stream .

Task at Hand

You want to load the master data and hierarchies of the characteristic financial statement item from the InfoObject 0ACCOUNT into the consolidation system (SEM‑BCS).

And you want to assign the account numbers of chart of accounts 100 to consolidation chart of accounts 01 .

You want to create a hierarchy of items only.

You want to assign the item type balance sheet to the account numbers 1 – 199999 , and the item type income statement to the account numbers 200000 – 999999 .

You have no intention of explicitly specifying source or target selections.

Customizing the Method

The method uses the data type items with the characteristic item .
