Behavior of the Link Diagnoses Pushbutton

Use

You can assign one diagnosis to another diagnosis on the diagnosis processing table screen (transaction code NP61) by selecting the relevant diagnoses and choosing Link Diagnoses (Assign Diagnosis to Another Diagnosis) .

  • If the selected diagnosis is an asterisk/exclamation point diagnosis, the system issues a message instructing you to select a primary diagnosis.

  • The system displays all the diagnoses that do not yet have an assignment in a selection box.

  • If an assignment already exists for the diagnosis, the system displays it in a dialog box. If you want to delete this assignment, select the assignment to be deleted and choose Delete Assignment .
