The assignment of the position to organizational units as a managing position.

 

By assigning a position to an organizational unit as a managing position, you define that this organizational unit is managed by this position. The system displays the position or the position holder in the organizational unit data as the manager. For more information, see Organizational Unit.

Editing

You have the following editing options:

  • Create

    Choose New to create a new data record. Multiple assignments may exist at the same time, therefore new data records do not change existing data records.

  • Edit

    Choose Edit to change the data of an existing data record.

    • You can change the content of the data record by adjusting the existing data and leaving the validity period of this data record unchanged.

    • You can change the validity period of a data record. The system creates additional data records automatically where required to close time gaps. You can delete unwanted data records as required.

  • Delete

    You can delete data records. To do so, choose Delete.

Structure

The system stores the data for this data area in the Relationships infotype (database table HRP1001). The following fields are available:
