This infotype stores details of the employee’s integration in the following structures:

  • Company structure

  • Personnel structure

  • Organizational structure

    Note Note

    If the integration between employee and organizational data is active, the employee's assignment to a position is stored in this infotype and in addition in the Relationships infotype (1001).

This infotype also contains information that is important for authorization checks and for controlling payroll accounting.

Structure

Enterprise Structure

The company code, personnel area and personnel subarea of an employee is stored here. You can assign your employee to a personnel subarea and a business area, if required.

Note Note

You cannot make an entry in the Company Code, Personnel Area and Cost Center fields. These fields can only be maintained during the hiring or transfer processes. The value for the Legal Person field is set automatically and cannot be overwritten.

Personnel Structure

The values for the Employee Group and Employee Subgroup fields are filled during the hiring and transfer processes and cannot be overwritten.

The default value in the Payroll Area field can be overwritten.

Organizational Plan

This section displays the organizational unit and the position to which the employee has been assigned during the hiring or transfer process. You can assign an organizational key here.

If the integration between employee and organizational data is not active, the fields for Position, Job Key and Organizational Unit are also editable.

Administrator

Finally, in this infotype you can also store information about which administrator is responsible for which personal data for the personnel number concerned.

Organizational Assignment

This table shows all positions to which an employee has been assigned.
