This section describes the configuration of ICF nodes when the external SAP NetWeaver Gateway system has a different client to the back-end ABAP system, and the configuration of the services for the landing page.

Procedure

Configuring of ICF Nodes with Logon Data

To avoid a incorrect client user credentials request when running the landing page, configure the ICF nodes as described:

  1. In your ABAP back-end system, access transaction SICF and choose Start of the navigation path Program Next navigation step Execute End of the navigation path.

    The Maintain Services screen appears.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step External Alias End of the navigation path.

  3. Choose Default Host and select the menu Start of the navigation path External Alias Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path.

  4. Choose Trg Element tab and navigate to Start of the navigation path SAP Next navigation step BC Next navigation step UI5_UI5 Next navigation step SAP End of the navigation path.

  5. Double-click the SAP node.

  6. In the External Alias field, enter /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap and enter a meaningful description.

  7. Choose the Logon Data tab. In the Procedure field, select Required with Logon Data.

  8. Enter the client information as required and save your entries.

  9. Log on to your SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, call transaction SICF and navigate to the respective service that the landing page uses.

  10. Double-click the service for example,pao_usercontext.

  11. Choose the Logon Data tab. In the Procedure field, select Required with Logon Data.

  12. Enter the client information as required and save your entries.

  13. Repeat the above step for all services that the landing page uses.

    Note Note

    Repeat steps 10– 12 for all the OData services. For more information on OData services, refer to Activating SAP Gateway OData Services.

Configuring of ICF Nodes for Services

  1. In your SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, call up transaction SICF and choose Start of the navigation path Program Next navigation step Execute End of the navigation path

    The Maintain Services screen appears.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step opu Next navigation step OData Next navigation step SAP End of the navigation path.

  3. Right-click the SAP node and choose Activate Service

    and activate the service of all root nodes.

  4. Repeat the process for Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step opu Next navigation step OData Next navigation step ui2 End of the navigation path

  5. In your SAP ABAP back-end system, call up transaction SICF and choose Start of the navigation path Program Next navigation step Execute End of the navigation path

    The Maintain Services screen appears.

  6. Choose:

    Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step bc Next navigation step bsp Next navigation step SAP End of the navigation path, select the following services:

    • HRPAO_COMMONS_JS

    • HRPAO_LPD_C

    • HRPAO_ORGFAV_C

    • HRPAO_SEARCH_C

    • HRPAO_DISC_C

    • HRPAO_TDFT_C

    • HRPAO_TASKS_C

    • HRPAO_PROC_C

    Activate the above services (either via right-click of the mouse, Activate Service or in the menu under Start of the navigation path Service/host Next navigation step Activate End of the navigation path)

    • Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step bc Next navigation step ui5_ui5 Next navigation step SAP End of the navigation path, select the following services:

      • HRPAO_COMMONS_JS

      • HRPAO_LPD_C

      • HRPAO_ORGFAV_C

      • HRPAO_SEARCH_C

      • HRPAO_DISC_C

      • HRPAO_TDFT_C

      • HRPAO_TASKS_C

      • HRPAO_PROC_C

      Activate the above services (either via right-click of the mouse, Activate Service or in the menu under Start of the navigation path Service/host Next navigation step Activate End of the navigation path)

    • Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step public Next navigation step bc End of the navigation path, select the following services:

      • UI2

      • ui5_ui5

    Activate the above services (either via right-click of the mouse, Activate Service or in the menu under Start of the navigation path Service/host Next navigation step Activate End of the navigation path)

    • Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step public End of the navigation path, select the following services:

    • HRRenewal

    • HRRenewal/PB

    Activate the above services (either via right-click of the mouse, Activate Service or in the menu under Start of the navigation path Service/host Next navigation step Activate End of the navigation path)

  7. Repeat the process for Start of the navigation path default_host Next navigation step SAP Next navigation step bc Next navigation step ui2 Next navigation step start_up End of the navigation path
