Prerequisites

The same e-mail address is maintained for the user in both SAP JAM and in the back-end system.

Procedure

To start a discussion in the Discussions lane, you first have to select the object with which you want to perform the discussion in the Master Data application. The discussions originate from the side panel in the Master Data Application and are accessible via the Discussions link at the top right of the page.

  1. Create a discussion.

  2. Search for and invite users.

  3. Post a comment and reply.

  4. View replies from multiple participants.

  5. Start multiple conversations with participants.

  6. Additional actions to edit a discussion title.
