Holder (Relationship 008)
The assignment of employees or other objects to the position as the position holder.
You assign an employee to a position to represent its organizational integration and to transfer characteristics or default values to this position. Alternatively, you can also assign business partners (object type BP
), users (object type US
), and central persons (object type CP
).
More than one position holder can be assigned to a position at the same time.
You can display this assignment on the object profile page for a position.
To edit assignments of employees to positions, use a corresponding process for editing employee data.
To edit assignments of business partners, users, and central persons to positions, choose the corresponding applications of the Organizational Management
component.
The system stores the data for this data area in the Relationships
infotype (database table HRP1001
). You have the following fields available on the object profile page of a position for this:
