Attaching a Reference to a Website

Context

You can append a link to a document, that is stored on a Web server, to an object. This allows direct access from the object to web pages from the intranet or Internet that are related to the object.

Procedure


  1. In the Toolbox of the object services, choose .

  2. Choose Add External Document (URL).

  3. Enter the title under which the link is to be offered.

  4. For the address, enter the URL of the Web page.

  5. Choose .

Results

The Web page has been added to the object. You and other users can call the Web page in the Attachment List of the object.
