Putting Back a Task
Use
When you are assigned to a certain task, or when someone delegates a task to you, it appears in your task list in the BPM inbox and/or the Universal Worklist (UWL). If you do not have the resources to complete the task assigned to you, or if you feel uncomfortable about performing it or simply cannot do it, you can put back the task.
If you open a task in your task list (BPM inbox or UWL), you automatically become the processor. If you picked up a task by mistake or you cannot complete the task for any reason, you can put the task back into the pool. Once you have put back the task, you are no longer the task's responsible owner. All potential owners of the task can see the task again in their task list (BPM inbox or UWL). The list of contributors is deleted by putting back the task. Only the actual owner can add and remove contributors.
Procedure
To put back a task, in the Actions menu of the task execution UI, choose Put Back . The task is put back and the task execution UI is closed.
