Creating SAP Kernel Update / Rolling Kernel Switch Repositories

You want to store SAP kernel update or rolling kernel switch configuration files in a repository on a central share.

Prerequisites

You have installed the latest version of SAP Host Agent.

You have detected a host.

For more information, see Adding Hosts.
The host detected is added to an existing pool.

For more information, see Configuring Pools.
You have prepared the SAP kernel update / rolling kernel switch media.

For more information, see Preparing SAP Kernel Update / Rolling Kernel Switch Media.
You have mounted the volumes or folder containing the installation files on the target host.

Create one repository for each kernel release that you want to provide for updates or upgrades in your landscape.

Choose Infrastructure Repositories.
Choose Add Repository.
Enter a name for the repository.
Choose the host for the repository.
Select the repository type SAP Kernel Update / Rolling Kernel Switch.
On the Mount data step, select the mount point that contains the volume or folder mounted.
Save your entries.
Select the repository created and choose Check.
