Defining Report Headers

  1. In the menu of the Report Painter , choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Report header End of the navigation path .

  2. The dialog box Report Painter: Maintain Report Header appears.

    If you want authorization protection for the report, enter an authorization group.

  3. Enter the name of the standard layout assigned to the report.

    When you first create a report, the default standard layout is SAP . This standard layout is shipped with the SAP system. For more information, see Layout .

  4. To make default settings for exporting the report to an application or presentation server, choose Export parameters .

    In the subsequent dialog box, enter the required data. You can see the default values you entered in the report output under Start of the navigation path Report Next navigation step Export End of the navigation path . You can change these default settings as required.

  5. To save the report header, choose Continue .
