Installing SNC Client Encryption

Prerequisites

  • You have 10 MB of disk space on the host computer.

  • The host computer is using one of the following Microsoft Windows operating system versions:

    • Windows 7 64-bit

    • Windows 7 32-bit

    • Windows Vista 64-bit

    • Windows Vista 32-bit

    • Windows XP 32-bit

    • Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit

    • Windows Server 2008 64-bit

    • Windows Server 2003 64-bit

  • You have installed SAP GUI for Windows 7.2 patch level 9 or higher.

  • You have downloaded the SNC Client Encryption executable from the Software Download Center at Start of the navigation pathhttps://support.sap.com swdc Next navigation step Installations and UpgradesEnd of the navigation path. Search for SNC Client Encryption.

Context

Use this procedure to install the SNC Client Encryption component on a Windows host with SAP GUI for Windows.

Perform this procedure on each client host. SAP GUI for Windows offers the capability to add components, such as SNC Client Encryption, to an installation server that you can distribute to Windows hosts in your network.

Procedure

  1. Start SapSncClientEncryption.exe as an administrator on the Windows host.
  2. Choose the Next > pushbutton.
  3. Select the SNC Client Encryption checkbox and choose the Next > pushbutton.
  4. Choose the Close pushbutton.
