 Checking the Application Server's User (Windows)

Use

Use this procedure to determine which user the SAP System uses to run its processes so that you can create credentials for the correct user (Windows only). Under UNIX, the user should be <sid>adm.

Procedure

In the server's Control Panel:

1. Choose Services.

2. The Services screen appears.

3. Select the service for the SAP System (SAP<SID>).
4. Choose Startup....

The Service screen appears.

Result

The user who runs the SAP System is the user displayed in the This Account: field.
