Configuring SNC for Using the SAPCRYPTOLIB Using SAPGENPSE

Use

Use the command line tool sapgenpse to configure SNC for server types that do not offer a such a tool, such as, SAProuter or the application servers previous to release 6.10.

Procedure

  1. Install the SAP Cryptographic Library.

    For more information, see Installing the SAP Cryptographic Library on an Arbitrary Server.

  2. Create the PSE.

    For more information, see Creating a PSE for the Server Using SAPGENPSE.

  3. Create credentials for the server.

    For more information, see Creating a PSE for the Server Using SAPGENPSE.

    If you are using individual PSEs, then exchange the security information between the server and its communication partners.

  4. Perform any connection or server-specific SNC configurations and activate SNC.
