The Standard End-to-End Process

You prepare your data product using the My Data Products app.

To make your data product available to consumers, you switch the lifecycle status of the data product from Draft to Listed within the app My Data Products.

You create a license and activation keys within the app License Management.

If you choose the contract type License Key for your data product, you need to create a license with activation keys so that consumers can access the data product.

You distribute the activation keys to the consumers who want to acquire your data product.

For this step, you'll probably use the business email of the consumers.

The consumers can then activate and download the product in the Catalog & Marketplace. They can access the data product until the license expires.

After the initial shipment, when your data products have aged, you create and publish new versions of your data product using the app Publishing Management.
