Outbound Delivery for Subcontracting with Refurbishment Order

Purpose

Normal repair process

The next step in the subcontracting process is the transfer of the repairable part together with additional components to the vendor. This is possible with or without creating a delivery. When delivery papers are needed, a delivery should be created. Partial delivery to subcontractor is possible. The subcontracting monitor ( ADSUBCON ) is used to create the delivery with reference to the subcontracting purchase order item. The delivery is created in background.

The outbound delivery process is completed in the system when the goods issue of the rework material is posted. The rework material is now shown as special stock Provided to Vendor .

Note Note

In case of partial subcontracting, you may have to transfer the part which has already been withdrawn from stock to the workshop back to stock before it can be sent out to the subcontractor.

End of the note.
Planned Modification

The transfer of the repairable part together with additional components to the vendor is possible with or without creating a delivery. There is no difference between normal repair and planned modification process.

The delivery will be created from the subcontracting monitor with reference to the subcontracting purchase order item.
