Including a Rule in a Transport Request

If you have changed a rule or created a new rule in the Customizing client, you can use the rule editor to set up the transport to the live client.

Please note that the transport is not complete until you have released the transport request.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Rule Next navigation step Transport Next navigation step Include in request Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

The Prompt for Customizing Request dialog box is displayed.

  1. Specify the transport request. You have several options:

  • If a transport request exists for the user name with which you logged onto the system, the appropriate entry is displayed in the Request field.

  • If there is more than one transport request for your user name choose the one that you require.

  • If no transport request exists, choose .

  1. Choose .

Result

The rule is included in the specified transport request.
