Hydrocarbon-Specific Data in the Material Master

In the material master record you can store hydrocarbon-specific data for liquid products that is needed in the oil and gas industry for the following functions.

  • Parallel inventory management (inventory management in several units of measure)

  • Excise duty handling

  • Plant-to-plant transfers

To enter hydrocarbon-specific data, choose the Oil-Specific Data view when you create a material master record.
