Configure Certificates

Manage crypto assets for the SAP Business Network 4R2 integration.

Prerequisites

This task can be performed by a configuration manager user signed into the Configuration Manager.

Context

This step is required to establish connectivity for the SAP Fieldglass and SAP Ariba integration.

Procedure

Inbound Certificate from CIG to SAP Fieldglass

  1. Self-Service Dashboard under Crypto Tools, choose Manage Crypto Assets.
  2. In the Company list, choose Ariba_CIG (ARIBA).
  3. Choose New.
  4. In the Category options, choose X509.
  5. Enter the following details:

    1. Asset ID: Enter a meaningful name for the asset. If left blank, a random ID gets generated.

    2. Public Certificate: Enter the certificate content along with the headers ----BEGIN CERTIFICATE---- and ----END CERTIFICATE----.

    3. Notification Email ID: Enter the email address to send notification when certificate is going to expire.

    4. Check Auto Activate: True. If not, the asset can be activated later. However, the asset isn't available for use until activated.

    5. Extended Key Usage: Choose System Authentication.

    6. Custom Attributes: Choose LinkedCompany, enter the value ARIBA_CIG, and then choose Add.

  6. Choose Create. The certificate is loaded into the system and ready to be used for SAP Ariba integration.

  7. Create a new user with the following values:

    1. In the Username field, enter [CompanyCode]_ARIBA_CIG.

    2. In the Display Name field, enter [CompanyCode]_ARIBA_CIG.

    3. In the Role list, choose Administrator.
