Create a SOW Template for SAP Ariba 4R2 Services PO Integration

After the preceding system environment entry is completed, a client admin user needs to create and configure an SOW Template.

Prerequisites

Before you create the SOW Template, create a specific SOW Type to be used in the SOW Template. To create the SOW Type:

  1. On the buyer’s Admin Configuration page under Services, choose SOW Type. The SOW Type list page opens.

  2. Choose New. The Add New SOW Type page opens.

  3. Proceed as follows:

    • In the Name filed, enter a value.

    • Under Creation Type, choose Integration.

    • Under Define Clauses & Characteristics, for Events, choose Optional.

      All other field values can default as shown.

  4. Choose Continue on this page and the next page, and then choose Submit.

    After this step, you need to associate this SOW Type needs to the 'AribaNetworkClassification' Classification that was created in a previous step.

Context

The following tasks can be completed by an SAP Fieldglass client admin user.

Create the applicable SOW Type and SOW Template specifically for use with SAP Ariba 4R2 Procurement Integration. This default SOW Template is used for all inbound 4R2 Purchase Orders sent from SAP S/4HANA Cloud through SAP Business Network and SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway into SAP Fieldglass.

Procedure

  1. On the buyer's Admin Configuration page under Services, choose SOW Template. The SOW Template List page displays.
  2. Choose New. The Add New SOW Template page displays.
  3. In the Type list, choose the value you created in the Prerequisites step.
  4. In the Name field, enter FGSOWTemplate. (The value can’t be modified as it’s hard-coded from the inbound integration feed.)
  5. Choose the following additional options:

    • Description: 4R2 USE ONLY – FOR INBOUND SOW CREATION

    • Defined By: Buyer

    • Defined By Locked on Statement of Work: No

    • Master SOW Template: No

    • Used to create non-billable Statement of Work: No

    • Used to create SOW bid: No

    • Associate all Business Units: Yes

    • Creator can change Adjustment Group : No

    • Display Spend Allocation Details: No

    • Currency: Choose all applicable for client/buyer

    • Define Clauses & Characteristic: Choose the following options:

      • Clauses: Don't Use

      • Management Events: Don't Use

      • Schedules: Don't Use

      • Events: Optional

      • Fees: Don't Use

      • Resources: Optional

    • SOW Custom Fields: Enable the following custom fields applicable to the inbound 4R2 PO/SOW and this template:
