MPD Header and Item Data Tab Page

Use

You maintain the header and item data for the maintenance plans.

Prerequisites

To be able to change data on this tab page, your user must be assigned to authorization object I_PSDTAB .

Features

  • You can use the Start Dates button to maintain the start dates of the maintenance plans for each technical object linked to the document. You can maintain the effective start dates that will be used in the MPD start and restart reporting modes as the start date and time for the background processing if the maintenance plans are to be started or restarted in background jobs.

  • You enter a compliance date, the date by which the maintenance should be finished. This date is only used by the work status reporting mode to find relevant documents with the compliance date within the user-defined time period.

  • MPD Workbench flags:

    • DIR valid to update maintenance plans

This flag is only visible if you have set the document type in Customizing under Start of the navigation path Plant Maintenance and Customer Service Next navigation step Maintenance and Service Processing Next navigation step Maintenance Program Definition Next navigation step Define MPD Settings for Document Types End of the navigation path to act as a data container. When you have set the indicator in Customizing, the DIR Valid to Update Maintenance Plans indicator will be visible on the MPD Header and Item Data tab page for that document type. Once it is set, the document will be visible in the MPD Workbench and you can update the linked maintenance plans from it.

    • DIR valid to restart maintenance plans

If you set this indicator, you can restart the linked maintenance plans in the MPD Workbench.

  • Maintenance plan item data

Each maintenance plan created from the document in the MPD Workbench will have the same items as in the maintenance plan item table. You can add your own fields to this table by enhancing the MPDITEM table.
