Effectivity Reporting You use this reporting mode to maintain the object links between documents, technical objects, for example, functional locations and equipment, and maintenance plans based on the effectivity data stored on the
MPD Effectivity
Data
tab page in the Document Management System.
The reporting mode compares the effectivity data on the
MPD Effectivity
Data
tab page to the classes and characteristics to which the technical objects are assigned. If the data matches, the system displays the corresponding status icon and the technical object and document can be linked to each other if this has not already been done. If the data does not match, the system displays a corresponding status icon. The object links between the document, technical object, and maintenance plans can then be deleted and the maintenance plan deactivated, if required.
In the MPD Workbench, you load the appropriate document, functional location, or equipment in the loading area and choose
with the quick info text
Load Tree
.
The system displays the document structure in the structure browser.
You select
Effectivity
from the
Reporting Mode
drop-down box and choose
Run
.
In the reporting results, status icons with tool tips are displayed that indicate if the object links are created, should be created, or should be deleted. If only one check returns a message, the information is shown in the tool tip for the status icon. Any of the documents that are not shown in the reporting results are visible in the exception log (
Except.Log
).
